the box

I don't think there is anything better than writing and recieving mail.
No I do not mean email. I mean those letters that you right on stationary and you try to write it in cursive just so the person who is getting the letter thinks you usually write in cursive because its pretty. Pretty people seem to write in cursive a lot.

I've neglected both my livejournal and this blog. I used to livejournal all the time and I really regret not keeping up with it. I believe I am going to start a new journal though, as in an actual book with paper in it.

I just wanted to say though that I once talked to a friend about how everything is a circle. Everything is a cycle. When I was younger there was this one class where there was a wall where we can post anything we wanted. Some people voiced political messages, others inspiration quotes, and some jokes.

It's really strange though that we collaborated though. We all wanted to say something. Now I dont really want to say anything. I just want to do something, hear something, or feel something.

I think thats the problem with my lack of motivation to write.

I have come to say that I do not like writing and that I'm bad at writing.
I don't think its so much that as it is that I have nothing really important to say.
Everything that is importance is already boxed up and figured out in my mind.
This box is so perfect and it all makes such perfect sense. Why would I want to put it out there to be torn open and ripped apart?
Then things start getting confusing.
Things begin to be overanalyzed.
Things are no longer what they seem.

So I'll just keep these precious things in the beautiful box in my mind.

oh it is love.

I fell in love today, with a dress. I have not felt this way about an article of clothing in a while. I have begun to feel a bit numb towards my clothing, the same old thing with the same old details. HOWEVER while adventuring on etsy I found my perfect match.

for sale by kirbyvintage on etsy. The pale yellow and lace detail...agh its just so precious. I want to wear it and drink a cup of tea and then dance to a cello in a field of daisies.

(ps janna im sorry for the gramatical errors in my blog posts. i just get too excited to pay attention.)

Today is January 5, 2010

after school I was picked up and went downtown with Chris

as we sat in the parking lot waiting for the time to reach 5 so we had free parking we decided to write a poem.

"What to Do at 4:52?"

What to do at 4:52?

Get out of the car, and buckle your shoe

Then walk to town and find a bench

You may just run into a pirate wench

And when the coldness starts to hurt

Spending time together is definitely what its worth

And then it was 5 o'clock

just wanted to share that tidbit

because it made me veryvery happy.

watercolor

So I feel now that I should include a picture, to actually record any kind of progress.

(I made him too big for the page...now he probably has self image problems. sorry.)

I've been practicing painting fashion drawings in watercolor (but these are not on watercolor paper)

Im hoping that I can just practice a whole bunch to get better.

I guess thats what everyone wants when they practice something though..

anyway here you go.

AHHH 2010!!!

HEY so this is the first post of the new year.
and I had a terrific night.
WHICH was documented with a billion pictures
that i all accidentally erased off my memory card
(over 400 pictures- not all from tonight)
but now tomorrow i need to go and relive everything and pretend that a part of me isnt devastated.
but i am not going to let this small insignificant occurance ruin my new decade in any way!
plus i recieved a long distance phonecall from thailand!
(thats pretty special.... HAVE YOU ever gotten a phone call from thailand.... and if so well then just let me think im special)
but i have to say this has been one of the best new years ever.

this is 2010.

oh and a drunk lady tried to open the car door i was in.
hahaa
that was comical.

tonight was just beautiful though....

New Year

For the New Year I have decided that I wanted to do something with purpose and something that I would actually stick to for my "New Years Resolution". Every year so far I pretty much sum up my resolution to "become more physically fit, gain muscle, and somehow gain some sort of athletic ability". This year though I decided to just take advantage of the things I already have. I have a computer and a life. Therefore blogging about my life shouldnt be that difficult. I go on weekly and daily adventures if its with my venture crew, myself, or my other close friends. I make things daily (paintings/clothing/random crafts) so why not document these things that way I can track personal growth? Also there are many ideas that never go any where in my brain so maybe if I put them out into the world someone can do something with them if I can't figure it out myself.

Overall though I'm not expecting that many people to read this so I suppose it's a selfish resolution. But if I at least make this promise to myself I can say I have done something to improve.

So hidyho this is the beginning of a new and improved "Happy Little Blog"

Yes that name is quite appropriate if you ask me.
