Sweet Sixteen

So today I am sixteen years old :D

I am as old as Molly Ringwald in 16 candles... I find that so exciting.

The day began at 12 when I was on the phone with Chris and he wished me a Happy Birthday.

Then in the morning my dad dropped me off at Mallorys and then me, mal, sav, megan, johanna, bridey, stasia, and rosa went to ihop for free pancakes!

(Mal and Sav bought me an amazing cupcake! I would include a picture of it but I ate it... sorry it was too delicious to resist)

Finally I get home and my mother said I had a delivery!

So I walk into my room and......

There was once a small girl named becca who desired to bake cupcakes. So she did. She made vanilla coconut cupcakes, with red sugar buttercream frosting, and a strawberry garnish from scratch.

It was fun.

to do

things I want to do

- get really really vintage clothes and wear them that way i feel straight out of that time period.

i think that would be fun. or even talk as they would at that time or an activity.

-bake. bake. bake. mal and i made our friend megans victorias secret cake and it came out quite nicely.

- enter the toms shoes/ joannes prom dress contest (ideas, ideas, ideas)

-aice art focus for next year? i'm thinking "the architecture of fashion" all water color/ ink fashion illustrations inspired by different types of architecture

-find out why i shake so much

-practice driving more... well i dont really want to. but i have to.

so one day we were walking through the garment district and idk if any of you care but if anyone watched project runway season six they should.

savannah and i saw this attractive guy turn the corner. he looked at each of us and then scurried away around the corner. unfortunately this guy didnt know that he was our idol from season six project runway for being not only a fabulous designer, but super super super hot.

Yes i am talking about logan. Yes i was thrilled.

So Savannah and i exchanged glances and then she said

"THAT WAS HIM!"

so me, mal, sav, and my mother all chase after him. I scream "LOGAN!" which was muffled by the honking of taxi cab horns. Then Mallory screamed his name and he turned around smiled and waved.

The rest of the day I was on a cloud.

(i tried calling miss rose since she was the only person i could think of that would care as much as i did!)

Anyhow my trip was amazing and im sure I'll post more pictures and elaborate more as soon as i can.

In the meantime I have

togas to make (for the play "peace" in school)

tom shoes to design for a contest

monologues to memorize for drama

lines for peace to memorize

chem homework

math homework

yay.

I know I haven't posted in a while. I've been doing things though so don't think I'm a slacker!

I've been baking for beta club/valentines day, working on drama monologues, costumes for the greecian play "peace", painting for kicks, being a typical AICE kid, and preparing for the big NY trip!!!

SO EXCITED.

Anyhow I feel the need to post tonight to prove to myself that I can actually take time out of my day to actually do something substantial and not just go on facebook.
